Description: Another recital of music by composers who experienced forms of official harassment at one time or another brings two rarities: Roslavets’ not-so-very-avant-garde pieces - all by one from 1907-10 - have no current competition on CD and Wellesz’ atonal but intensely expressive Miniatures from 1965. The notes tell us nothing about the nature of Iranian-Austrian Nafjar’s oppression but his ten-minute piece is also very expressive and dramatic.
