Description: When listening to the Czech violin sonatas listed above and to the Fritz below and then coming to these sonatas from 1763, the stature of Bach is vividly represented. A whole new world of emotion opens up and the piano becomes an equal partner. The Arioso of 1781 is an example of the further formal and stylistic advances Bach was working on in his old age.
