Description: Although two of these arrangements are with no apparent purpose other than to provide string orchestras with more Dvorák to play, one is quite interesting: the famous Serenade for strings of 1875 is possibly an arrangement of a work from 1873 for winds and strings (as listed above). Even if this 1988 arrangment is not exactly what Dvorák wrote originally, it's still an intriguing and fresh look at a very well-known score. Members of the Czech Nonet, Camerata Nova Prague; Josef Suk. Original 1988 Campion release.
