Description: This is the third time this year that the cello sonata has appeared in these pages so we'll ignore it in favor of the real reason for offering this 1990 recording: the 39 minutes of piano music which cover the years from 1888 to 1930 and influences from Rachmaninov to Debussy and Ravel (the latter two in the very atmospheric 3 Pezzi of Op. 43).
