Description: This is odd. Same pianist as on two Acte Préalable discs of the same composer with 40 minutes worth of the same pieces (11J071 and 04K071). Who knows why? Anyway there are still 26:38 of new music here from this student of Anton Rubinstein: four Mazurkas which innovate within the genre by means of polyrhythms and polymetrics and half a dozen Immortelles (the origin of the title is obscure) which prove to be graceful and uncomplicatedly elegant miniatures.
