Description: Different label but a chronological follow-up to July 2014’s Somis violin sonatas Op. 1 (on Glossa - 07Q025). In this dozen from 1723, the first six concentrate on polyphony in a virtuosic context while the remainder are more monodic and fluid with the harpsichord getting more action.
