Description: Remember the days when something like this would have come out on Supraphon in its Musica Antiqua Bohemica series? Well, it's that good, and introduces us to the Bohemian composer Habermann, who was known as "the Czech Handel". His concerto, discovered in the 1960s, is short and baroque in orientation but in the three-movement form of the Classical period. The anon. concerto was attributed to Haydn but H.C. Robbins Landon calls it "school of Rosetti". Steven Gross, Jirí Havlík (horns), Camerata Filarmonica Bohemia.
