Description: An organist who spent 30 years at a post in Padua, Turrini's accompanied sonatas were published in 1784 and are attractive examples of the quasi-amateur types of two-movement sonatas popular in Vienna at the time. The solo sonatas date from 1795 and are more advanced, in some ways anticipating the direction Clementi was taking at the time with his piano sonatas. 2 CDs.
