Description: More from the widow Svetlanova, probably everything by these two composers which her husband recorded as part of Melodiya's "Anthology of Russian Symphony Music (sic)". No recording details, other than "1971-1993 from Evgeni Svetlanov's archives", which means nothing since, with the exception of two items, they're the same recordings which came out on Melodiya LP and early Melodiya CDs circa 1991-3 and now long unavailable. However, the Chopin suite appears not to have been included in that series nor was Hashish, the latter being offered here in a dub from LPs presumably since the original master is missing or was damaged. 6 CDs. State Academic Symphony Orchestra; Evgeny Svetlanov.
