Description: More astonishingly sophisticated and erudite music from Graupner as Naxos takes advantage of the research and recordings of Geneviève Joly on the Canadian Analekta label, who has pioneered his keyboard music. Of particular note is the Winter example from a set of "Four Seasons" partitas published in 1733, a very elaborate and expressive piece which is longer than almost all of his other partitas.
