Description: As we've been saying for five years now, everyone who loves Bach and Telemann should hear these orchestral works. Graupner will likely be seen as the major discovery of the beginning of the 21st century and Italian Stradivarius now joins the German cpo and MD&G labels to offer us more of Graupner's orchestral overtures (86 in all) which recall Telemann in more ways than just their prolific number (the composer was studying, along with Fasch, in Leipzig while Telemann was leading that city's Collegium Musicum).
