Description: These 14 pieces make up Salvatore's only published work, printed in 1641. The music is in the idiom of the Neapolitan school, of which the best-known member may be Giovanni Trabaci, Salvatore softening somewhat the dissonances, abrupt rhythmic changes, rapid melodic ascents and descents and sudden cadences in distant keys which mark that style.
