Description: An unlikely source for a film-score disc but who's complaining? These 77 minutes of music were prepared for performance by Christopher Palmer (1946-1995) and Patrick Russ (who edits performance editions of scores for Tiomkin's publisher Volta Music Corp.). Notes in each track and a separate biography of the composer and an appreciation of Palmer are joined by five color movie posters and half a dozen photos of Tiomkin. Live recording.
