Description: The sparkling little three- to -five minute sonatinas and the toccatas are like works of a 20th century Venezuelan Scarlatti or Soler and the suites and Miniaturas share similar neo-baroque clothing but with more folk-music elements. Yet, among the last six items listed above are a glittering Impressionistic water-piece (La fuente), a nine-minute Romantic tone-poem depicting the Venezuelan plains (Estampas) and a heady version of the national Venezuelan dance (Joropo).
