Description: One of the best examples of "Music from Theresienstadt" releases, with good historical and biographical notes of just the right length, rare repertoire and a nicely laid-out presentation. Only Krása's and Klein's songs were not actually composed in the concentration camp while Berman, the only composer of this group to survive his internment, wrote his solo piano Reminiscences (interspersed between the songs throughout the disc) at various times between 1938-45. German-English texts. Wolfgang Holzmair (baritone), Russell Ryan (piano).
