Description: Around 50 minutes of really obscure Taneyev (i.e. everything but the two Oresteia pieces), from the early period of 1875-83 and mostly not even published until after World War II, anchored by the big 17-minute Overture on a Russian Theme (1882), using the same folksong Rimsky-Korsakov based his Fantasy on Russian Themes on, which is like Tchaikovsky on speed.
