Description: Piano works represent a marginal branch of Malipiero’s oeuvre, or at least one that was developed less systematically. However, there are about thirty titles – spread over more than sixty years – in which the most typical forms of his language find perfect expression: from the melancholy restlessness of the first works (everything here but the 1932 minuetti date from 1901 to 1918) to the clear expressive intensity of the last ones (the late 5 studi of 1959).
