Description: There is precious little information about composer or works in the post-informational notes but Delvincourt's composition teacher was Widor. The 1923 sonata has the flavor of Ravel and Poulenc and there's a lean toward the brisk humor of Françaix in the suite of Boccacio character pieces (1926); the Danceries are elegant, slightly tart neo-baroque pieces from 1935.
