Description: If you can't remember Vol. 1 that's because it was over nine years ago (02E056). Since almost every set of songs here has multiple other recordings, we're really offering this because we offered the first volume and because we like Hyperion's song editions. But the three short Chansons de France are quite rare, settings of 15th and 17 century texts with little of the impressionist techniques evident in many of the other little groups here; it was also the first composition for his infatuation of the time, the singer Emma Bardac.(02E056).
