Description: At last, organ collectors can look forward to a cycle based on the newest edition of this Italian organist/composer (the performer here is also one of the editors). From typical organ fireworks pieces like the Fataisie (1894) and Fuga (1893) to the tone-poem based on Joan of Arc (1909) and the 1896 masssetting, the programming seems to seek to show the wide range of Bossi's inspiration (and the setting of the first of the two pieces in Epousailles - Sposalizio of 1911, a Méditation réligieuse scored for violin, cello, harp and organ, is one of the more unusual scorings you'll find involving the organ). Società Corale "Città di Cuneo", Andrea Macinanti (organs of Aosta Cathedral, Church of San Filippo Neri, Torino and Saluzzo Cathedral), Marco Bianchi (violin), Federica Mancini (harp), Manuel Zigante (cello - all in Op. 134/1).
