Description: Although there are one or two other recordings of each of these concertos (two originally written for the obsolete violone), we offer this since the soloist uses a modern bass but with scordatura tuning and because, for recent historical value, he is the first Latin American and the youngest player ever to be a member of the Berlin Philharmonic (at age 17 back in 2002).
