Description: The first of two releases for quite unusual instruments (at least this one you can touch), brings a wide variety of works from Hungarian composers for their national folk instrument (which English-speakers also call the "Hungarian hammered dulcimer"). Farkas' works are transcriptions of solo guitar pieces but the remainder were written for the soloist here, ranging from atonality to the neo-baroque work by Szokolay. Viktória Herencsár (cimbalom).
