Description: No idea why this would not be generally released, since it has the only available clarinet version of the famous Undine sonata (which includes some quite different writing in the second movement for the soloist than the flute version), as well as the only available version of the late and brilliantly vivacious Introduction and Allegro. The trio's gorgeous melodies exude a Brahmsian autumnal feel all through its four movements and 28 minutes. It and the remaining piece, the early Fantasie-stücke, have only one other CD recording.
