Description: One of only four chamber works which the Argentinian Gaito wrote, the 1917 sonata shows some of the characteristics of his soon-to-develop nationalist period. Ponce's big, four-movement sonata of 1922 is a richly Romantic piece which might be the most lushly melodic and attractive of all this Mexican composer's music. Nin’s little 1927 suite consists of four pieces in Spanish folk music style. Nicole Peña Comas (cello), Hugo Llanos Campos (piano).
