Description: From Halvorsen to Svendsen for Järvi and Bergen. This is the first of a projected four-volume series. Since this one is 80 minutes long, there plainly is going to be more than was on the three-disc cpo set from mid-2008 (06J050); this is the only available recording of the four-minute orchestration of the fourth of Wagner's Wesendonck Songs which Svendsen titled Dreams. Marianne Thorsen (violin), Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra; Neeme Järvi.
