Description: The stylistic variety of the Polish piano preludes above is also present in these solo violin pieces (for all that three of them have titles suggesting the classical sonata or baroque forms) which derive from two generations of Polish composers. Needless to say, the solo violin is a much less patronized shop than the solo piano so 20th century collectors will have the choice left up to them individually. Szymon Krzeszowiec (violin).
