Description: There is only one other digital-age recording of any of these works (the A minor trio on Chandos) currently available and none at all of the single movement (12 min.) of the unfinished trio of 1815, where, as in the quintet, Schubert looks forward to Romanticism in Alyabiev’s lyrical style.
