Description: I'm offering this collection of choruses for male voices and orchestra primarily because Bruckner's Helgoland has one of the most thrilling openings of any work, period, and it's almost never recorded much less performed in concert. The rest of the disc is fairly unhackneyed too since you're only going to find the Sibelius in the BIS Complete Edition (which seems to be unavailable in the US right now) and the Debussy in the two-disc set of "Music for the Prix de Rome" which we offered in March 2010. Texts and translations available on-line. Lund Student Singers, Malmö Opera Orchestra; Alberto Hold-Garrido.
