Description: The horo is the main traditional folk dance of Bulgaria and a sub-genre of horos for wind band grew in that country beginning in the early 20th century with Vrachansky being a significant contributor; so what we have here is the Bulgarian version of Czech “Slavonic dances” with the same swings from solemn to exuberant.
