Description: Collectors of this harbinger of Romanticism will find rather rare stuff here (nothing is currently available on disc although Op. 69/3, at least, was once on a Dorian CD), especially the large-scale, 28-minute Fantaisie of 1811. In place of notes, using contemporary reviews by the Allgemeine musikalische Zeitung of three of the works, is itself a cool form of "period practice". Alena Hönigová (Broadwood fortepiano).
