Description: Dating from 2002-2009, these chamber pieces are all in Eespere's post-minimalist period and are more concerned with rhythm and the timbre of the instrumental combinations although, here and there, lovely melodies suddenly blossom and there are ever so slight reminiscences of his minimalist days. The works are arranged non-chronologically and program for the listener a journey from melancholy to peace and the nicely chosen Latin poetry acts as signposts to this effect.
