Description: V-W used 15 folk songs from his own collection gathered between 1906-10 and others by his friends, using the seasons as a binding thread. In Windsor Forest is a 1931 collection of four songs from the opera Sir John in Love arranged for female voices in 1954 by Oxford University Press production manager Foote (also a first recording).
