Description: Yet another disciple of French organ masters, the Basque Guridi studied composition under D'Indy and organ under Jongen and the latter's influence is to the fore in the early (1907) Fantasia. A much later collection of 20 pedagogically oriented short pieces, the Escuela (1951) suggests similar suites by Vierne and Langlais.
