Description: Decruck’s sonata has apppeared on other recordings and the Hindemith is well-known leaving Klaveren’s attractive homage to Poulenc, the elegiac lament by Markovitch, Sporck’s late Romanticism and the only avant-garde piece here: Lebič’s Invocation which calls for extended playing techniques as well as the surmounting of intricately difficult rhythms and extreme dynamics.
