Description: A violinist who also wrote a number of comic operas during a ten-year stay in Moscow, Crémont published his Op. 13 string trios in 1826. Formally, they are one of the last examples of the baroque trio sonata (the title gives the choice of viola or cello for the "bass" part) but the lower instrument often has equal standing in music which is firmly in late Classical style. Trio Concordia.
