Description: Why on earth are we offering this? Did you read the work-listing closely? Here is the World Premiere Recording of the 12-year-old composer's Grand Trio, "grand" not in length (it's only 14:31) but in its youthful desire to break classical boundaries with its four-movement-in-one format, although it doesn't trifle with classical style - the main influence is Hummel! The Mélancolie of 1885 - a theory lesson transformed into a five-minute tone-poem and not published until 1911 - is not otherwise available on CD either. 4 CDs. David Lively (piano), Quatuor Malibran, Korneel Le Compte (double bass).
