Description: A pity that two of these appeared on an Oehms Classics release back in 2007 (06I042) but No. 6 is new to disc and what we said back then, of course (slightly edited to account for No. 6) still stands for all three concertos: “Full-length works, in classical sonata-form first movements, song-like slow movements (one adagio, one variation, one andante), and with two rondo and one tempo di minuetto finales, they compare with Mozart's earlier concertos and are more involved than most of Haydn's. If this disc is the last thing you play before retiring, a Kozleuch rondo theme will stay with you until unconsciousness or maybe beyond.” London Mozart Players; Howard Shelley (piano).
