Description: Geminiani wasn't the only composer to help himself to Corelli's violin sonatas as we see here. More importantly, we have two concertos - one for Platti himself (he also played the oboe) and one for the brother of his employer, a quality amateur cellist, whose family archive, the Library of the Counts of Schönborn-Wiesentheid, provided the manuscripts from which this release has been recorded.
